Just in case you got wrapped up in Valentine’s Day festivities or took an extended bathroom break during halftime check out Alicia Keys–in case you missed it. A. Keys performed a medley of songs including “Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart”, “Empire State of Mind Pt. 2″ and “No One.”

Alicia Keys NEW SINGLE “Sleeping With A Broken Heart”

After falling in love with Alicia Keys’ first single “Doesn’t Mean Anything“, I find myself in moderate like with her second single, “Sleeping With A Broken Heart.” (Produced By Jeff Bhasker) The songs title commanded my attention but the airy vocals didn’t quite capture my heart. I will give it another listen but I really expected the song to conjure up the emotion of John Mayer’s “Dreaming With A Broken Heart” now that ladies and gents is a song…but I digress. Hopefully, we get a few great ballads off the A. Keys’ forthcoming album, The Element of Freedom which hits stores Dec. 15.
