Jay-Z attended the kick off press conference for the DJ Hero video game at the Plaza Hotel in New York City (wearing of course a Yankee fitted cap). While Jay tested his skills on the 1s and 2s, he also was there to promote DJ Hero Renegade Edition. The Renegade Edition features Jay-Z and Eminem and includes a premium Renegade turntable controller, hardshell turntable carrying case that converts to a performance-ready DJ stand, and an exclusive Jay-Z and Eminem 2-CD pack featuring both best-of and new, unreleased tracks.

Looks like Robin Thicke’s latest album Sex Therapy will be due to get an appearance by King of the Empire State, Jay-Z. Earlier today, Robin Thicke revealed (via twitter) that Mr. Carter will likely appear on one of his tracks…
In the studio today with Jay Z… His Hovieness!! So excited!! He’s jumping on one of my records for my sex therapy album. Wish me luck!!

Rihanna new single “Russian Roulette,”–written by Ne-Yo –just launched worldwide on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show (scheduled for first listen at 11:23am but premiered at 11:40a.m.).
I loves it. It’s deep and passionate. You can hear the intensity in her voice and in the beat, especially in the chorus as Rihanna repeats:
“You can see my heart beating, you can see it through my chest. I’m terrified but I’m not leaving. I know that I must pass this test so just pull the trigger.”

Janet Jackson ‘Number Ones’ Album Hits Stores in November
