Myspace sponsored a concert last night (Dec. 3) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York concert featuring Rihanna. The concert was free to the public and aired live on myspace. For ‘The Release’ Rihanna performed some of her past hits like ‘Umbrella’ and ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ as well as some songs from her newest album, Rated R including ‘Wait Your Turn,’ ’Hard,’ and ‘Russian Roulette’.

Rihanna definitely got the kids panties in a bunch when she began her performance of “Wait Your Turn” at the American Music Awards and the camera zoomed into a tattoo down her sternum (neck). No worries it is not permanent. Rihanna performed and as usual kept the audience trying to figure out what she was wearing. Rih also performed “Hard” (minus Young Jeezy).
To promote her album Rated R, Rihanna will be making an appearance at Best Buy Union Square:
“Monday Nov 23 Best Buy | Union Square NYC Be one of the first customers to purchase her new CD RATED R beginning at 8:00 AM on Monday at Best Buy Union Square to obtain your wristband for a very special event later that… day: RIHANNA signing copies of her highly anticipated Def Jam album RATED R beginning at 5:00 PM! Not on the official U.S. edition of Rihanna’s Rated R album being released tomorrow but this song is definitely catchy! <3s it ! In case you haven’t caught the RihannaFever yet check out her Rated R Booklet (via RihannaDaily). Again, I love how this album/this year has brought out the gangsta (albeit packaged for promotional purposes) she is owning this newfound persona down to the closing credits she’s 1/3 humble and 2/3 edgy:

Get it, girl.

Aha! I was wondering where the inspiration for this bag came from looks like it was a preview for the song the “Wait Your Turn.” *lights flicker on in head*
I give Rhanna two points for the subtle message she sent back when this picture was take during Fashion’s Night Out (Sept. 10)at Intermix (with Giuseppe Zanotti ). The bag reads: Such a F**king lady, Wait Your Turn! Get it? Got it!
