D’Angelo aka Mr. How Does It Feel, just isn’t getting the groupie love he used to get anymore, according to the Post his attempt to get some oral satisfaction on the streets of NY landed him in jail:
Grammy Award-winning R&B singer D’Angelo was arrested early yesterday after allegedly offering an undercover policewoman $40 for oral sex while cruising alone through the West Village — with $12,000 stashed in his SUV.
D’Angelo, 36, whose real name is Michael Archer, was in his top-of-the-line Range Rover at Greenwich and Horatio streets at about 2:30 a.m. when he spotted a woman he took to be a prostitute, sources said.
He was arrested and charged with solicitation after asking the woman for sex, the sources said. His manager declined to comment.

Last night, 9-year-old Anthony Maldonado was stabbed to death in Harlem. The boy was visiting family and was stabbed in the chest and later died. The incident happened at 75 La Salle Street, where Anthony’s relatives lived.

“Uncle, uncle, I’ve been stabbed,” he said.
Paramedics rushed the boy to St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital but he couldn’t be saved. His grief-stricken mother identified his body there about 8 a.m.
The NYPD said no arrests have been made, but police sources said a man in his 20s was being questioned at the 26th Precinct stationhouse.
“This person is probably not going to be going home tonight,” the source said.
Cops were searching elevator shafts and Dumpsters in the housing project last night, apparently looking for the murder weapon.
Anthony had been visiting his grandfather for the holidays.
“He was a nice boy,” the uncle said.

Independent of the drama the couple had a good time together two-stepping and whopping together, the footage shows the love. It is what is I guess…still love me some Alicia.

Myspace sponsored a concert last night (Dec. 3) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York concert featuring Rihanna. The concert was free to the public and aired live on myspace. For ‘The Release’ Rihanna performed some of her past hits like ‘Umbrella’ and ‘Don’t Stop The Music’ as well as some songs from her newest album, Rated R including ‘Wait Your Turn,’ ’Hard,’ and ‘Russian Roulette’.

Tonight thousands flocked to Rockefeller Center to watch the tree lighting ceremony of the world famous Rockefeller Christmas tree. The event aired on NBC on Wed. night (12/2) and features performances by Aretha Franklin, Shakira, Michael Buble, Alicia Keys, The Roots and more.
This officially marks the beginning of the most wonderful time of the year in midtown NYC and the 76-ft. tree will help welcome many tourists and New Yorkers alike. The Rockefeller Tree will be lit daily until January 7th, 2010 from 5:30 a.m. till 11:30 p.m., 24 hours on Christmas Day, and 5:30 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Mike Bloomberg served two terms and then persuaded the NY City Council to bend the rules that previously restricted mayoral term limits to two terms in office.
Once he received what he deemed a go ahead he used his financial POWER to ridiculously outspend his opponent, Comptroller William C. Thompson Jr.. Bloomberg spent over $90 million of his own money on his campaign efforts to Thompson’s $6 million.
The New York Times, called the race in favor of Bloomberg, “With 17 percent of precincts reporting, Mr. Bloomberg was leading Mr. Thompson, 49.2 percent to 47.7 percent.”
