Beyonce Makes History at 52nd Annual Grammy Awards

Beyonce is the first female artist to win 6 Grammy awards in a single night. Bey’s six wins included:
Song of the Year:: Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),”
Best Female Pop Vocal Performance:: “Halo,”
Best Female R&B Performance:: “Single Ladies,”
Best Traditional R&B Performance:: “At Last,”
Best R&B Song:: “Single Ladies”
Best Contemporary R&B Album:: ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’
But it was during her acceptance speech for the Best Female Vocal Performance that she so proudly acknowleded her hubby Jay-Z and added a bit of sentimental value by saying, “I’d love to thank my family for all of their support, including my husband. I love you.”

Last night on twitter, Chris Brown just couldn’t help himself again and posted another Rihanna related link to youtube videos of the ex-couple during better times. The Mechanical Dummy linked to the video with the message: “I’M SORRY YALL. JUST HAD TO POST IT.”

According to a source (USMag), actress Paula Patton and her hubbie, singer Robin Thicke, are expecting their first child.
The song bird and actress are high school sweethearts turned eternal loves and have been married since 2005.
Last year it was rumored that Paula Patton was preggers, but this year it seems this pregnancy is fact.

5 months and a plea deal later: Chris Brown's video apology

Chris Brown finally takes a few minutes to apologize for his actions, shamefully beating his then girlfriend Rihanna, back in February. Ummm, according to my calendar this apology is about 5 months and a plea deal too late.
Chris Breezy starts the video out saying his lawyer advised that he not speak publicly regarding the incident with Rihanna, however he now feels that it is time that people hear some things directly from him.
“Although I will do some interviews and answer some questions in the future, I felt it was time you heard directly from me that I am sorry.”
“I have told Rihanna countless times, and I’m telling you today, that I am truly, truly sorry that I wasn’t able to handle the situation differently and better.”
“As many of you know, I grew up in a home where there was domestic violence, and I saw first-hand what uncontrolled rage could do. I have sought and I am continuing to seek help to ensure that what occurred in February can never happen again.”

There is a hot new trend that I discovered at the awards party last night, its utterly frustrating and befitting.
Manufactured Love is the New black.
Kanye and Amber Rose are at it again…Thought in my head: How come we never had the conversation about Kanye’s choice in a woman. Do we just forget the writer of the lyrics “and when he get on he’ll leave your ass for a white girl.” Does art imitate life? Am I getting p’unked? Either way I don’t believe. (sidenote:LOOK directly behind Kanye do you see that hot mess?!)
Next up on the manufactured conveyor belt,
Ne-Yo and his “Girlfriend.” Not only should you have linked her up with Kanye’s barbie for a few fashion tips but you were better off coming alone. Train wreck! Plus during the awards show when he was won a hot mess BET award, they kissed in the most obvious attempt of ’something to prove’ that I’ve seen in a while.

Maxwell is back to make me ticklish on the inside once again! I have heard snippets of his new single “Pretty Wings” for the last few months and now finally I get my release! Maxwell has the dynamic ability to make me channel a menopausal woman at a Teddy Pendergrass concert back in the 70s…I just wanna scream ” Sing it! Maxwell, Sang it to me baby!”
Maxwell minus the hair has emerged fresh and new, I cannot wait for his album. Maxipoo call me!

Time is so precious and most of us let opportunities slip by because we think “Hey, I’ll have time for that some other day.” Yet, the reality of life is that nothing is guaranteed. No one is promised to us for a lifetime, so with the limited capacity that we have we should love purely, wholly, are truly. No opportunity is promised to boomerang back our way, so seize what you can!
