Leona Lewis Comments on Yesterday’s Book Signing Attack

Did You Catch?: Leona Lewis Punched in the Face at Book Signing

It seems that Leona Lewis was the victim of an assault during a book signing for her book, “Dreams” in London earlier today. The singer was signing autographs, when suddenly a man, whom was standing on line walked up and punched Leona in the head.
The man was restrained by security guards and arrested for “suspicion of assault and was being held in custody.”
According to a statement from Leona Lewis’ management:
Leona was the victim of an unprovoked attack. The police were called immediately and medical attention has been sought. Leona is understandably shaken and apologizes to the fans she was unable to meet and complete signings.
An eyewitness at the store told the BBC, “[Lewis] was running out with her hand over her eye, and I just saw a man on the floor. Suddenly the security all jumped on him and they were trying to pull him out and he was just laughing. He thought it was funny.”
What a shame!

will be the main performers at this year’s VH1 Divas concert which is set to air Thursday, Sept. 17 at 9/8c.
Vh1 announced today:
After a four-year hiatus, VH1 will bring back the legendary live concert event VH1 Divas by featuring some of pop music’s most talented female artists – Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis and Miley Cyrus. The VH1 Divas concert will be televised live on VH1 on Thursday, September 17 at 9/8c.
For the first time ever, these leading ladies at the top of their musical game will perform together live at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York. Continuing in true Divas tradition, the evening will feature a night of unforgettable performances from various performers, presenters and special guests. Additional performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
