Alicia Keys NEW SINGLE “Sleeping With A Broken Heart”

After falling in love with Alicia Keys’ first single “Doesn’t Mean Anything“, I find myself in moderate like with her second single, “Sleeping With A Broken Heart.” (Produced By Jeff Bhasker) The songs title commanded my attention but the airy vocals didn’t quite capture my heart. I will give it another listen but I really expected the song to conjure up the emotion of John Mayer’s “Dreaming With A Broken Heart” now that ladies and gents is a song…but I digress. Hopefully, we get a few great ballads off the A. Keys’ forthcoming album, The Element of Freedom which hits stores Dec. 15.

So, there’s one more day left on the I CANNOT BLOG watch until Alicia Keys premieres her video for “Doesn’t Mean Anything“, the first single from her upcoming album, over on Perezhilton.com. MTV, VH1, Yahoo Music, E!, hell BET would’ve been a better venue for a “release” but I’m not a hater so whatever floats A.Keys’ boat. Looks like cloudy judgment….I can’t.

Alicia Keys Performs on Live with Regis and Kelly (VIDEO)

Alicia Keys appeared this morning on ABC’s “Live with Regis and Kelly.” Alicia performed her first single “Doesn’t Mean Anything,” off her fourth studio album “The Element of Freedom” due out December 1.
Alicia Keys will be hosting an event at the Hammerstein Ballroom this Thursday, October 15, and the video for “Doesn’t Mean Anything” premieres on Friday!

Alicia Keys is gracing the world with a new single “Doesn’t Mean Anything”, lyrically it’s like If I Ain’t Got You, Part II, but I loves it. Its soft, yet strong in the unique melodic soulfulness that only A.Keys can deliver. The track will be available on iTunes on September 22nd, and I’ll definitely be saving up my 99 cents for that purchase. Check it out.
