Jay-Z is Mr. Personality on Jonathan Ross

Looks like Jay-Z saves all of his humor for the British. In a recent interview on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, Jay was hilariously enteraining as he discussed his ‘friendship’ with President Obama, his role in Beyonce’s dance routines (he joked that he was the originator of Bey’s uh oh dance), and more. He also performed On To The Next One, check that out below:

BEYONCE’S Vizio Commercial

beyonce-vizio

Beyonce appeared in a commercial for Vizio during the Super Bowl Sunday. The footage of the making of the Vizio would have you believe that Beyonce was going to play a bigger role but she was just the attention grabbing element. The minute long commercial feature the R&B star for 14 seconds and the rest of the cameos were of “the best of the internet.”

I loved the little piece David After The Dentist, where little Dave asks “is this real life?” and the clip of “Chocolate Rain.” In case you never saw the youtube clips or the video of the making of the Vizio commercial peep those below.

Beyonce Makes History at 52nd Annual Grammy Awards

Beyonce-Grammy 2010-History

Beyonce is the first female artist to win 6 Grammy awards in a single night. Bey’s six wins included:

Song of the Year:: Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It),”
Best Female Pop Vocal Performance:: “Halo,”
Best Female R&B Performance:: “Single Ladies,”
Best Traditional R&B Performance:: “At Last,”
Best R&B Song:: “Single Ladies”
Best Contemporary R&B Album:: ‘I Am… Sasha Fierce’

But it was during her acceptance speech for the Best Female Vocal Performance that she so proudly acknowleded her hubby Jay-Z and added a bit of sentimental value by saying, “I’d love to thank my family for all of their support, including my husband.  I love you.”

Beyonce is A Little Alanis Morisette for Grammy Performance

GRAMMY 2010-beyonce

Beyonce performed an interesting rendition of “If I Were A Boy” and incorporated a cover of Alanis Morissette’s “You Ought To Know,” to add an element of spice and life. Beyonce definitely channelled her idol Tina Turner and gave a good performance (although it must be said I am rarely disappointed, call me a STAN and I don’t care!)
