Jan 11th
Last night Marvin Sapp performed his latest single “He Saw the Best in Me,” on BET’s the Celebration of Gospel 2010. While there were tons of great performances at The Celebration of Gospel, including Fantasia and her mother Diane Barrino Barber; Tarsha & Anthony Hamilton; and Leidisi & Kelly Price; but it was Marvin Sapp’s song that brought down the house. The song title alone made me wanna cry because if you ever heard Marvin Sapp sing his voice pulls at your very core and if you don’t cry you will surely shake your head (agreeably). More >

Sphere: Related ContentBET to Pick Up & Produce NEW EPISODES of “The Game”?
Oct 9th
According to Sister 2 Sister Magazine, BlahET BET will has picked up the show “The Game” for new episodes. I would be more excited but it’s going to air on BET and I really, really, really hope that they keep the same writers and content from when the show aired on CW.

In an interview with singer/actress Drew Sidora, who played a self-titled role on the show, said:
“Everybody that petitioned—believe it or not—about the show getting cancelled, that is really what ultimately had BET even looking to pick it up,” she explained. “It was really dope. Everybody really loves the show and supports the show, so all I can say is keep watching.”…“Right now, they’re just trying to figure out when it’s going to actually come back, as far as when we start filming the new episodes and things like that,” said Drew. “But BET has picked it up.”
Sounds interesting. I have yet to see confirmed reports from BlahET BET but if this is true this will be great for all the loyal fans of the show…
Dear BET,
If you can successfully bring life back to THE GAME without making the show like the rest of the foolery on the network I will consider forgiving you for your past programming.
<3,
ICANNOT.
