Brandy & Ray J are teaming up for a reality series on Vh1 called Family Business. The show is set to premiere April 11th so now the promos are in full swing check the video below:

Although originally scheduled to premiere on E! tonight at 11:30 Lady Gaga & Beyonce’s “Telephone” has arrived. Fierce and fabulously…The video short is 9 minutes and 30 seconds of pure iconic imagery. Lady Gaga definitely is bringing her eclectic visuals to the dull eyes of us all. Looks like Matt’s “special friend” gets special priviledges like meeting the folks. Over the weekend Rihanna met Matt Kemp’s parents at a fundraiser in Arizona:

Rihanna traveled to Arizona to meet boyfriend Matt Kemp’s family this weekend, but this was no ordinary trip. The singer flew in all the way from Berlin on Saturday just so she could attend Kemp’s charity bash, Ante Up for Autism. The L.A. Dodgers outfielder is very close to the cause as his brother is autistic. She had performed at the Echo Awards in Berlin on Thursday but then hopped on a plane shortly after.

“Matt was happy she came,” says an inside source on Rihanna making it to the event.  “It was an awesome show of support.”

Besides the other pro baseballers in the house Saturday evening, Kemp’s family also attended, and they met Rihanna for the first time.

“Rihanna fit right in as if they all knew each other. It was comfortable.”

The fundraising gala kicked off with Vegas-style gaming and cocktails, a live and a silent auction, followed by dinner and dancing. The second-annual event raised $170,000 with only 150 people in attendance.

The wait will soon be over for the Lady Gaga & Beyonce’s collaboration “Telephone.” This Thursday (March 11) at 11:30pm, the nine-minute video is set to premiere on E! After hours of watching the red carpet, we filtered through the sea of gowns and came to one conclusion. THE FASHION SUCKED. Granted, there were some to-die-for pieces, but overall, these celebs seem to have forgotten the meaning of “haute couture” and rather opted for “no couture”. Take a look at some of the few looks that sizzled, and help us give citations to the rest of these hot messes. I can’t. I cannot. I refuse.

Meryl Streep: One would think that after 16 Oscar nominations, Meryl Streep would learn how to pick a dress. Clearly, she hasn’t learned jack. She looks like she dressed for her own funeral. I absolutely hate this dress. It makes her look older. This silhouette does not work for her body. She needs something that does not cover her up from head to toe. Casper the ghost much? SJP: She loved the dress. She seems to be the only one. Her publicist’s expression on the left basically sums up the rest of America’s feelings on this shit show. I absolutely hate it. Chanel never really works for the carpet and this is a prime example of why. The silhouette does not work. The jeweled embellishments do not work. She does not work. I can’t fathom why everyone thinks this woman is a fashion icon. This dress is a mess. Penelope Cruz: I’m just happy this chick’s not in black or a Cinderella gown. That being said, this gown is boring and troublesome for no reason. There is way too much fabric here. Penelope is gorgeous. Yet, this dress is wearing her and she’s not wearing it. There’s too much going on. It’s a flop. Jennifer Lopez: Gasp! My jaw dropped when she hit the carpet in this Armani Prive. This is how you do this fabric right (take notes Amanda Seyfred). The train is classic Armani and is absolutely gorgeous.  The detail accross the top is stunning!This silhouette works on her and she has such a beautiful glow. J-LO is by far, the best dressed of the entire night. Mama still got it! Cameron Diaz: Her stylist (Rachel Zoe) is always a hit or miss. This dress is a big time miss. It was originally pulled for another actress in 2007 but she refused to wear it. I’m sure you can see why. It does not work. The makeup does not work. The hair does not work. The spray tan does not work. I am so over Cameron Diaz. I have never seen her look good on a carpet. Horrible!Kate Winslet: When this dress makes you miss the YSL from last year, there is a problem. This gown is atrotious. It’s mother of the bride gone wrong. YSL knowns how to do glamour. Yet, I have no idea why Kate would choose this dress. Two pieces never work and the necklace (as beautiful as it is) does not complement the dress. This girl has  a rocking body. This dress however, needs to be burned. Gabourey Sidibe: Poor Precious. Her stylist needs to be canned. This dress does not work at all. However, I am happy that they ditched the normal bath robe they put her in. Yet, this dress is a a mess. Gaby was quoted on the carpet as saying “if this were porn, this dress would be the money shot”. Unfortunately, this would make everyone less horny and more disgusted. I can’t with this dress. Blue also seemed to be the color of the night for the “Precious” cast, including the big O.Guiliana Rancic: Okay, so forgive me for adding her to this post. God knows I think she looks like an alien and I absolutely hate her–and Giada de Laurentis (but that’s another story). I actually–clutch your pearls– like this look.The dress is dark and had the potential to be boring. However, the designer added tasteful details to make it interesting. The hair is right and the makeup is soft and gorgeous. I absolutely love it. I still hate her and her freaked up looking husband though…Amanda Seyfred: It could just be that I hate this girl. Or it could be that her hair is pulled so tight that she could pass out any second. This Armani Prive is strictly a runway dress and should have never transitioned to the red carpet. The silhouette does not work for a carpet at all. As with Mariska Hagatay (below) she needed to offset this dress with statement-making jewelry (something ruby). Sorry Amanda, you look a mess. Whomp Whomp.Elizabeth Banks: I loved this dress–until I saw the big split in the front. The color works, the detail on the bottom is gorgeous and the bodice is amazing. Why then, would the designer mess the whole thing up and add a split? What a mess! Anyway, this chick looks like Chelsesa Handler (minus the Vodka). The hair is also a bit too structured. It makes her look like Perfect Patty. Unfortunately, Perfect Patty fucked up with this dress! Boo!Anika Noni Rose: First off, I’m as surprised as the other guy that she’s at the Oscars. That aside, this dress is prom gone wrong. I appreiate the embellishment on the bodice but the bottom is as out as Tyra Banks’ weave. The color works. Overall, she made an attempt but she clearly needs help. Prom should be the last thing on anyone’s mind when they are picking an Oscar dress.Ana Kendricks: You know there is a problem with the dress when my mother looks at it and says “I like her dress”. The dress has too much shit on it and the color blends right into her skin. She told Ryan Seacrest that this was a last minute choice and she loved it. Sorry Ana, when picking a color for the carpet, make sure it does not look like you do. To top it all off, there’s so much on the dress that it looks like she’s growing fabric out of her ass (literally). This is a flop and can somebody please explain to me why that lace is lining the split? What the hell!Mariska Hargatay: I love this woman on SVU. Not so much on the red carpet. If you’re going to do a black dress on a carpet, there needs to be something about it that makes us go, DAMN! This dress is boring. She made an attempt with the bow and all the other bells and whistles on the dress. But it’s not working. It’s very August wedding reception. She could have at least tried to edge up the dress a bit by wearing some statement-making jewelry. But she didn’t. Hence I hate it. Gorgeous woman, boring dress. She’s clearly having her Jennifer Aniston moment.Zoe Saldana: I can’t. I cannot. I refuse. What is that purple kale patch growing under her crotch? She always looks a mess! It’s even more gut-wrenching because she has such a great body. She can wear anything and look great–except this. The whole dress is wrong. I feel like I’m looking at three dresses. The boddess takes us in one direction and then the waist takes into another. The bottom of the dress however, takes us straight into hell. I’m sorry Zoe, you are the WORST DRESSED of the entire night.Zac Effron: It’s hard to cut ass on the guys because they always look the same. Zac is in a boring black tux. He looks fine. He needs to ease up on the bronzer and cut an inch off of the top of his hair. Other than that, he looks a lot more composed than he did last year when he couldn’t even stand up straight.Diane Kruger: Oh my God, what the hell is this? Diane was snubbed by the Academy after she previously garnered a Golden Globe nod. However, this chick does not take rejection so easily. She attended the ceremony with Quentin Tarentino. Looking at this dress, she would have been better off staying home and drowning her pain in a pint of Hagen Daaz (cookies n’ cream–my fav). I feel like I’m looking at 21 different dresses. The top does not match the bottom and the bottom does not complement the bodice. The makeup is way too editorial for the carpet. She is a hot, buring mess. Mariah Carey: Please, let us all clap. She finally put her tits away (sort of). That aside, Maraiah Carey acts like she’s on drugs. She could not focus on the red carpet and she had her lackey (Nick Cannon) fixing her dress and jewelry the whole time. This dress is horrible. I mean come on, this is the Oscars after all. I think her plan was to rock as many diamonds that she could. But it did not work.The slit does not work and Mariah, I’m sorry, you are wearing on my last nerve. She looked better with a mouthstache in Precious.

James Cameron and wife: What can I say? It’s a boring black suit. Not only does her dress match his pocket square, but their hair matches too. Her dress is boring, cheap-looking and ugly. I can’t. I want some jewelry on her to take this from tired, old, homeless-looking blue to Oscar glam. The ruching does not work (please take notes from Mo’Nique below). I hate this dress.

Maggie Gyllenhall: Although this is the best I have EVER seen her look, the dress is a mess. Prints rarely work on the red carpet–especially not ugly ones like this!!! As usual, she gets a citation and a prayer. Call your pastor immediately and pray for an epiphany. The hair and makeup are okay. But hot damn, the dress is ugly. Mo’nique: I love Mo. Love her. This entire awards season she has just been giving it to us. And she did not disappoint tonight. This regal blue looks GORGEOUS against her skin and I love the flower detail in her hair. The ruching on this gown is absolutely stunning and flatters her body. Mo’Nique’s stylist is amazing. If only he/she can help Precious…

Vera Farmiga: I knew this was Marchesa as soon as she hit the carpet. This dress is STUNNING. Everything is right here. The hair works, the makeup works and the details on this dress are phenomenal. Marchesa knows how to do effortless chic with some BAM, as seen with these ruffles. The only fault here is that I would have loved to have seen this dress with a train. If you’re going to do Oscar glam, there needs to be a humungous train. Other than that, she looks amazing.

Sandra Bullock: Lord Jesus. I’m calling it early. Sandy’s gonna take home the Oscar. I think she knows it too. That being said, the goal here is to win the Oscar, not look like it. This dress is HORRIBLE! She took a page out of the 2010 Winter Olympics and decided to look to the figure skaters for inspiration for her look. This material does not work. The makeup does not work. The beading does not work. I am so dissappointed. She belongs in the Icecapades with this outfit.

Nicole Richie: I don’t know who the hell invited this chick to the Oscars. With that aside, there are parts of this dress that I like and parts that I loathe. I don’t understand the Pocahantos sleeves. I’m over the sequins look and the hair color has to go. I can’t with this look. Boho should NEVER touch the Oscar red carpet. Sorry Nicole, you get a citation!

Miley Cyrus: She looked great at the Grammys. That’s where it stops. Who is dressing this girl? I feel like she is NEVER AGE APPROPRIATE. This is a dress for someone like Sandra Bullock (who btw is 45 yeard old). This gown ages Miley so much. Couple that with her tourettes-esuqe voice and you’ve got a disaster waiting to happen. On another note, peep that nasty hair color! EEEEWWWW!!!!

Demi Moore: Love LOVE Love Demi in this dress!  Rachel Zoe (her stylist) got it right here. She is stunning. The hair and earrings complement this look well. I love the detail on the boddess and the ruffles on the bottom. When she moved on stage she was having her Charlize Theron 2004 stunner moment (in that ice blue Galliano). Normally, I think Demi is an old cougar. Tonight, she proved she’s an old cougar with style.

Charlize Theron: Poor baby! The last time Charlize attended the Oscars (2006) she looked a mess in Dior. Now (2010), she still looks a mess in Dior. What are those rosettes on her tits? I don’t get it! Out of all the fabrics that a person can possibly think of for a dress, satin is a no-no. This dress is a mess. I feel like I am looking at a ghetto version of an Oscar dress that some girl in Flatbush cooked up for her prom. HORRENDOUS!

Carey Mulligan: Love the hair color and love the dress. Peep those earrings! Absolutely stunning. For a young, first-time nominee, she showed some of the veterans (Meryl) how to dress for the carpet. I normally have reservations about black but this piece is gorgeous.

Rachel McAdams: I like this Elie Saab on her. I don’t love it. I’m not the biggest fan of floral prints on the carpet. Yet, Rachel is working the hell out of this dress. I do wish however, that she did this with more jewelry. I feel like the dress is so earthy that she needs some bling. Maybe that would have made me LOVE this look. Right now I have not married the dress; we’re thinking about having an affair.

So like many of my fellow New Yorkers last night ABC was taken away from my television channel line up because of a battle between Cablevision and ABC’s parent network. *GASP* But, thanks to the great internet we will still be able to watch the Oscars coverage tonight!!!

D’Angelo aka Mr. How Does It Feel, just isn’t getting the groupie love he used to get anymore, according to the Post his attempt to get some oral satisfaction on the streets of NY landed him in jail:

Grammy Award-winning R&B singer D’Angelo was arrested early yesterday after allegedly offering an undercover policewoman $40 for oral sex while cruising alone through the West Village — with $12,000 stashed in his SUV.

D’Angelo, 36, whose real name is Michael Archer, was in his top-of-the-line Range Rover at Greenwich and Horatio streets at about 2:30 a.m. when he spotted a woman he took to be a prostitute, sources said.

He was arrested and charged with solicitation after asking the woman for sex, the sources said. His manager declined to comment.
