John Mayer Apologizes For Using the ‘N word’ in an Interview

John Mayer just apologized via Twitter for some of the comments he made during a recent Playboy interview, specifically his use of the ‘N word.’ He writes:

Re: using the ‘N word’ in an interview: I am sorry that I used the word. And it’s a shame that I did because the point I was trying to make was in the exact opposite spirit of the word itself. It was arrogant of me to think I could intellectualize using it, because I realize that there’s no intellectualizing a word that is so emotionally charged. And while I’m using today for looking at myself under harsh light, I think it’s time to stop trying to be so raw in interviews…It started as an attempt to not let the waves of criticism get to me, but it’s gotten out of hand and I’ve created somewhat of a monster.

Okay…but what about everything ELSE he said??? But the N-word was just one part of the ignoramus comments made to Playboy. What about likening his penis to a anti-Semite who played a huge role in the KKK, and exploiting his sexual conquests? #imjustsaying.

Tiger Woods Sorry 2009: “I Have Let My Family Down…I Am Far Short of Perfect”

Tiger woods apology

It is unclear why Tiger Woods decided to step out on his wife and disrespect his commitment to her…maybe he was listening to too much Drake & Lil Wayne and wanted to “F*ck every girl in the world.” Although he has yet to get into the details of his affairs (I smell a 20/20 interview booking) he did release a statement on his website this morning apologizing for his “transgressions”:

I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.
Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means. For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives. The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious. Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect.

But no matter how intense curiosity about public figures can be, there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy. I realize there are some who don’t share my view on that. But for me, the virtue of privacy is one that must be protected in matters that are intimate and within one’s own family. Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn’t have to mean public confessions.

Whatever regrets I have about letting my family down have been shared with and felt by us alone. I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it’s difficult.

I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology.

Drunk Woman Stumbles onto Subway Tracks in Path of Oncoming Train in Boston

A 26-year-old woman, who was apparently drunk, fell onto the tracks in Boston’s North station.

Boston Woman Falls on Tracks

Once she fell onto the tracks of an orange line service, she stumped on her back in the middle of the track. A few passengers quickly begin to wave at the driver of the oncoming train. The train driver, 27-year-old Charice Lewis, notices the frantic passengers on the platform and stops the train just a few feet over the drunken monkey passenger on the tracks.

The fast-acting train driver later said: “The people were waving, but they were waving too much, and they were really, really close to the yellow line, which you are not supposed to be. It was telling me, ‘Slow your train down. Slow your train down. As I was approaching, the lady pops her head up, and I was like, ‘Oh my God. Someone is in the pit.’ I threw it into emergency, exactly what I am supposed to do, and it stopped just in time not to hurt her. After the fact, she came up with a big smile on her face.”

Rebecca Polihronis, Sosa’s spokesperson said: “He’s not trying to be Michael Jackson. He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin. Women have it all of the time. He was doing a dermatological skin process after years and years [of playing baseball] in the sun.”

I cannot.

I refuse to care, besides he’s not a YANKEE!

And … it was ugly.”Following the verbal argument over a text message that when Rihanna says Chris got physical and while he attacked her she said, “He had no soul in his eyes… It was almost like he had nothing to lose.”
