Rihanna Says “F Love…Because Love is So Blind”: Preview of 20/20 Interview
After months of silence, Rihanna is finally deciding to speak out about her involvement with Chris Brown and the night before the Grammy’s when Chris assaulted her. Good Morning America, previewed Rihanna’s “20/20″ interview that will air this Friday, Nov. 6. at 10 p.m. E.T. Here is what aired:
Rihanna tearfully spoke about the impact her decisions have on girls that may be in similar situations:
“When I realized that my selfish decision for love could result into some young girl getting killed, I could not be easy with that part. I couldn’t be held responsible for telling them “Go Back”. Even if Chris never hit me again, who’s to say that their boyfriend won’t. Who’s to say that they won’t kill these girls. And these are young girls. I just didn’t know how much of an impact I had on these girls lives until that happened. It was a wake up call for me big time especially after I took myself out of that situation. I will say that to any young girl going through domestic violence. Don’t react off of love. F love. Come out of the situation and look at it third person for what it really is and then make your decision because love is so blind.”

Tiger Woods took time from regularly scheduled daytime television to hold a press conference about his transgressions of the heart. Usher opened the 2010 NBA All-Star Game with his performance of his latest song “More” and took folks down memory lane with past hit “Yeah.” I think the biggest talking point of the performance was the leathered armor he was wearing. Interesting choice, of course the twitter-zens went wild! ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?

Music Musing: Brandon Hines “In Search Of…”

I’m not tryna get caught up in the good editing that GMA did for this clip. I’ll wait until the whole interview is posted. But as a preliminary… LOL…I was like everybody else tryna figure out why she waited until her album to drop to talk about the ordeal, but then I thought about it. Could you imagine her dropping her album without some dumb interviewer not bringing up questions about that night? Even if she was too blame for everything that happened in the first place and she was not the “victim,” who would want to be reminded over and over again of the night when your life went into complete disarray.
