Jay-Z & Alicia Keys Will Perform “Empire State of Mind” At Yankee Stadium World Series Game 1

Jay-Z and Alicia Keys will be performing the concrete jungle anthem “Empire State of Mind” on Wednesday at Game 1 of the World Series. A. Keys & Hov will perform at the new Yankee Stadium before the first pitch.

While making an appearance earlier, Jay-Z talked about the impending performance: “First of all, the new Stadium — it’s the Yankees and it’s game one of the World Series..I’m beyond excited about it, and on top of that, it’s a New York record. It’s a record that pays homage to New York. The timing of that couldn’t be better.”
