Atlanta Housewife Kandi Burruss's Ex-Fiancé AJ Killed in Fight at Strip Club
After an altercation outside of Atlanta’s Body Tap (strip) club last night, Ashley “AJ” Jewell, (otherwise known as Real Housewife of Atlanta Kandi Burruss‘ ex-fiancé) has died of head injuries he sustained during a fight.
According to police, after the fight AJ was taken to Piedmont Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect, Fredrick Richardson, is an employee at the strip club, is charged with voluntary manslaughter. Fredrick is currently being held at Grady Detention receiving checks for the injuries he sustained during the fight and will be tranferred to Fulton County Jail once he receives a medical clearance.
On twitter, Kandi expressed her emotions about the lost and her concerns for his children:
“im just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk, i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone.”
Prayers go out to the family and friends of AJ, especially to his six children.

Im praying for her…09 has TOO many surprises…Life I tell u! Its crazy to just be in contact with a love one and some ish happens that u couldnt foresee. Kandi is now carrying a lot of burden plus her uncles death too? geez. To think weeks ago AJ was looked down upon.. very sad

It’s so sad that our young men, our men are leaving us to the violence and senseless murders. What happened to the times when men would talk like men rather than just kill one another.Just because you take a LIFE that does not make you a man.It’s just so sad that there won’t be anyone to protect the women,to help raise the kids ,to teach the young men HOW to be men, responsible men.The treatment that we have already sustained as a people, don’t we think it to be time to START loving and respecting and caring for each other.Or is the hate that we have for us that deep, the hate we have been taught so deep that it’s irrepairable? It’s so sad how we are taking lives with no regards of the consequenses left behind. We better start learning to love US and unlearn the hate we have been taught. people for real we got to just ” SAY NO”.We got to get back to basics, being men and women, civilized and God’s chosen people.
