Needed Gas, Paid with Grass

Well, in this economy we’ve all come to a time where we’re at a register about to pay for an item and pray that after swiping the debit card the screen says APPROVED. But, when 52 year old James T. Hart entered a gas station to fill up the tank in his motorcycle he offered up a little ‘home grown’ instead of cash.

According Maryland Frederick County Sheriff’s deputies, James walked into Classic Fuels Store on Sunday afternoon around 3 p.m. and offered to pay the clerk with marijuana, Mary Jane, grass, pot….you get the idea.

Anyway, the clerk wasn’t having it–especially on a Sunday afternoon and called the police.

When the Po-Po got there they found James not only had marijuana, but cocaine and Oxycodone pills too!

James was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Note to self: You cannot pay with illegal substances…at least not on Sundays. James try again on Monday.
