Isn’t that a phrase we’ve all said, been tempted to say, spent hours carefully crafting reasons as to why we just couldn’t find the time to, muster the strengthen to, pull ourselves off Uncle Archie’s casket to, tear the pages away from Fido’s grip to…get the homework successfully into the teacher/professor’s hands. As a single mother, I confront this once a month at least (those that know me know the modesty of that last statement, but I digress) and then I realize that the thing I just cannot do is say “I cannot.” Ever felt that way? Like there is nothing left, no words to adequately place together on a page in order to take the frustration and make the assignment just go away faster. Damn homework. It’s never ending yet necessary o how you complicate my life and enrich it all at the same time. That being said, I cannot blog when I have so much work to do.

Turning cannot to opportunity one task at a time…
